Prayers please for my new Grandson

Grandson doing good, but now my daughter is not well her BP has really taken off and she had pulse today of 165, did EKG and ECHO, she's only 21. They say something is wrong and have tried IV and pill blood pressure meds and it hasnt helped yet, my god!!!!!!!. Cardiologist coming next and we cant see her, PLEASE send prayers for her too.

Stress is bad for blood pressure, hopefully this will be in the rearview mirror shortly.
 
The cardiologist still hasn't come but they had given her magnesium sulfate and with the BP meds everything is now within normal levels. So keeping fingers crossed. Thank you one and all for the prayers.
 
My Wife's bp was all over the place with our last kid. We have 3, and never had a problem. It tanked, and then went sky high. With medication and monitoring it took a little longer than I'd like, but she's back to normal. Women are SOOOOO much tougher than us men. No way I could go through everything to have a baby. :)

God bless you and your family, I pray for continued health for your Daughter, and that she continue to improve.
 
Daughter now has pneumonia and fluid around the heart very worried. Grandson is doing good though.
 
Best wishes and good luck. Think positive. My nephew was taken by medevac to Albany Pediatric ICU minutes after he was born and spent the first six weeks of his life there (blood clot in heart and kidney failure). Now he is a healthy, sturdy and happy 11 year old.
 
Thanks again everyone, they've moved my daughter to the cardiac ward hoping to keep a better eye on her, grandson doing real good.
 
There is finally a diagnosis. She has postpartum cardiomyopathy and its not a good thing to have apparently.
 
My god I do believe in the power of prayer she is back in the birthing section in the room with her baby and they both are doing well they both may come home today or tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support.

Thanks every one of you for the prayers. They released her today and she's got the baby with her. The scary part when leaving was that her OB and Heart Dr both told her that if there hadn't been the Sunnyside up problem she would have went home and died because of the fluid build up.
 
Glad to hear the good news, I really believe the smoke and prayers from the members here have the ear of the big guy upstairs...
