Prayers requested

An update from Dave today

Finally discharged, then immediately readmitted into rehabilitation.

Means that some progress has been made but not out of the woods just yet, so continue praying for a safe recovery

Just got a short message from Dave today, as this marks 50 days in hospital (spoken as the Brit's say it, they always leave out THE ) ;)
His energy is waning as you might well expect so all your good thoughts and prayers for him.

Going back to Pittsburgh next week, supposedly for a one day proceedure, like before was supposed to be. This is a new experimental drug and infusion. Let's hope and pray for no violent allergic reaction to this one.

Thanks for the update and I know that you are not wanting to go back but hopefully this will be the visit where they have everything just right for you

Well a few years later and many doctors visits my friend is still in need of prayers as I emailed him tonight to check in on him and he sent this message

But right now I am in cardiac intensive care in Pittsburgh. I got Life flighted in this afternoon by helicopter. Just got out of surgery, with 4 stints
