Prayers, smoke, good thoughts etc. needed.

My wife Kim and I could use some prayers, smoke, appeals to the deity of your choice, good thoughts, etc. Since many of my fellow HOGS have been like family over the years I thought I would post this here.

We have been trying for some time to have a baby and have been unsuccessful. Recently we have tried fertility treatments(the same procedure as the folks on the tv show John and Kate Plus Eight)and the first try didn't take. However we are hoping that this last round of treatment will work. We aren't hoping for multiple births or anything, although that would be a blessing as well, just one healthy baby would be fine. Although who knows?, there are sets of twins on both sides of my family

So any way...... well wishes etc would really be appreciated.

Keep at it man. My aunt and uncle had the a similar delay, and even with fertility treatments it took time. But now they have three kids (one set of twins). It will work out for you and your wife.

Smoke up, Nick. I hope you get to feel the excitement, nervousness, fear, paranoia, deep respect and all-around awe my wife and I are inundated by right now. With my first on the way, I'm all kinds of afeared, but I'm looking forward to it. You'll get yours, brother. Just keep your head up and try not to over-stress. If you wanna chat sometime, I'll tell you my crazy story after dealing with chemo and prepping for IVF.
