Prayers, Smoke...or whatever you can send for Jules please

Wow, Jules. You're a trooper, brother. Smoke up from Miami, and best wishes for you to beat all the bad stuff into oblivion.

Still much smoke, prayers & positive thoughts rising from Penn's woods for Jules... Hang tough, brother, victory shall be yours! I got faith in good things happening for good people, and you most certainly do qualify as one helluva good guy. :)

Dang it! Prayers for you brother Jules, you need a darned break!

I saw Janie post in winmagfrogs giveaway thread that Jules has more serious health problems.

I don't know if they would want me to mention what... or even if they mind me making this thread.

But I feel like I need to, and ask you all to say a prayer for Jules. He has an appointment tomorrow and will know more then.

I never make a thread like this but Most here know Jules... if you don't he is a great kind man.

Jules and Junie are absolutely wonderful people.

They've faced a lot of challenges in the past year, but have stood up to them like real troopers.

Smoke and prayers have been going up from my clan for about a year now ... and they will continue going up!

Wishing all the best to a fine couple.

Jules and Janie, you've been in my families prayers for a long time... more prayers are heading your way. You have alot of friends that care about you buddy... keep your chin up and stay strong Jules!!

We all hope and pray for a full and speedy recovery!:)

We're back. First the off, Ken44 THANK YOU for posting! All Jules talked about while waiting for the bone marrow biopsy was this post!

The Bone Marrow Biopsy, let me tell you if he had his STRipper he would have stuck that sucker in the wall! But he was a trooper, I would have been cursing up a storm!

Here's where we are at: It's Peripheral T Cell Lymphoma. He starts Chemo on Monday, no time to wait, attack it now. He will undergo 6 treatments, this will happen every 3 weeks. He'll loose his hair by day 21 into the 18 week process. Fine by me, I can polish him when he get's dusty ;) We are no strangers to this process. I mentioned to the Doctor that our oldest gets married in October, will he be up for it, he agreed he will be able to skip 2 treatments in order to be up to having a good time then back into reality the following Monday.

This is a Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, one you don't want to get. It's going to be a rough 6 months, but I will be by his side, you all will, getting him through this time.

He's lying down now, but I am sure he'll be back on later to check in with all of you.

Again, I can't thank all of you enough for the love and support, it means the world to both of us. "Keep the faith" is my motto, and I am standing by it.

It looks to me like you both have the edge you need to survive. Hang in there.

more warms wishes thoughts and prayers for you both!

Many strong prayers being sent from both Chuck & I. May God's peace be with you during this time, Jules & Janie. Hang in there, for HE is always with you!

Thanks for the update Janie. I was wondering all day how it went, and know many others have been as well. I'm very sorry to here how todays visit went, and will continue to keep you and Jules in my prayer's, like many others here will be doing.

I know you will be there by his side, and your right, we will be to.

"Keep the Faith"

You and yours are in my thoughts, Jules. I remember when I had my bone-marrow biopsy. The Doc had to try twice, as the first implement was bent almost in a "u" from the the pressure he had to use. Lukcy me I was narcotized.

My younger sister is running a half-marathon on behalf of all of us cancer (especially lymphoma) patients out there. All of the money she's taken in donations is being given to the lypmhoma society. Every bit of research helps, right?

Good luck with the chemo and all of the tests. Keep your head up, and have all your friends bring over their favorite DVD's. Hell, if you pm me your addy, I'll forward you a few of my favorites to borrow for a while. DVD's and books...great helpers for sure.

J
