Alright, I was itchin to do a contest, and I will be doing one at a thousand posts, which will be more epic, with even awesomer prizes, but I am impatient. So here we go.

Now I know we are not the nerdiest crowd around sometimes when it comes to our computers, but we all do spend a significant amount of time on our computers or phones checkin this place out.I know I spend a gross amount of time on here actually So I want to see where y'all are posting from. Your "battlestations". So here's the contest, pay attention there is 2 parts!

1. Post a pic of your computer desk set up preferably with a becker knife in it.

THEN

2. Post a pic of your favorite place to be with your becker - i.e. OUTSIDE. You know like... away from the forums? Your favorite hiking spot or something. You must have your becker in this pic.

Your post has to be recentish pics, or new ones are preferred.

Camron said he liked your battle station the best, however he is disappointed in the lack of a second monitor. Really the monitor situation for all y'all is disturbingly... lacking He forgives you, also he just purchased a 16 recently and is partial to your 16 pic as well.

He did mention he enjoyed kakefat's outdoor desk, but ol_sc's was the best.

i just have a apple MBP for my home computer, a scanner, a bad ass color laser printer, the work laptop(s) (depending on how many clients, they supply, always Dell ;>)

throw an iphone, ipad, an HP calculator into the mix? really, what more does a super hacker need? okay, fine, 50 inch main monitor? i keed! it's my tv. does work as a monitor though. which is silly with virtual desktops. hah. i win! next!

now compare! this is how it almost all started: my first battle station:

back then, times were rough. 100K floppy disk drives. wow

today: a personal and a work laptop with 8 GB ram, 750 to 900 GB of disk. good times. processing speeds to blow the mind. good times.

though, really, here's where i should be:

where upon i practice my archery, which is more important to me in many ways that knives. shocking. i know...

that deer in the center photo, from the stand, is about 50 yds off... looks like this a lot:

It's a Dell of some sort, no idea, nor do I care....I hate puters, I also use a Dell laptop on occasion.
for some odd reason, there actually aint any knives piled on the desk, but only because I picked it up a lil last week. The BH cap and Becker desktop wallpaper should earn me brownie points tho!

Mammoth Spring State Park

One of my favorite places in the world, been going there since I was a infant, just a lil 40(no idea really) acre? state park in the middle of town. Has a historic railroad depot, a fishery/aquarium, paddle-boat rentals, good fishing from two rivers, a children's playground, tons of animals, and a great hiking trail system around the Spring.

My favorite(?) Becker, because of how well it served me last weekend, when i did a small section hike of the AT. this is the bk-11 on a rock at a water source at one of the shelters I stayed in.

Oh, and you guys are wondering if I have pics of the AT? Well, i only took like 3 pics, because it was very wet, the camera was in my pack, and my pack cover was on, so I was WAAY to lazy to get it out.

Command center, complete with a BK15 resting on a stack of dead hard drives that I'll be dispatching with some 5.56 FMJ later on this week.

Here's another one I have set up at work and I'll use this one, especially when I there's some good baseball that I don't want to miss. It's not necessarily mine, but I have access to it at any time.

This is one of my favorite places. It's not the most spectacular, but we have about 15 acres of woods at work that I have access to hike and hunt. For a getaway at lunch time to clear my head, it's absolutely perfect. The treehouse is something a couple of us built, and I'm the only one still around here to enjoy it. Very few people know about it. The pic with the Becker blades is right at the base of it, when I was out chopping away some of the pine trees that went down next to it during a tornado.

Becker is my gen-1 Ka-bar BK2 with a Marioncarry custom sheath.
Yes, it's usually a little dark in my office cave.

I'm sorry that you found my post so strangely offensive (??). I simply don't have a set space, and therefore don't know how to photograph one. So here's the best I can do, a "POV shot" while I lay on the bed next to my sick little girl. Laptop...on my lap. Just participating in the thread, not for the prize.

I'll try and come up with something more creative later. Then edit it into my post.

EDIT TO ADD:

Looking at others pics, I figured I'd do this: My "Battle Stations" is usually near the kids. While I am laid off during the slow season (which seems to happen every 2.5 years) I watch the kiddos 3 days a week, at least until my wife is off for the summer (teacher). So Battle Stations is usually overseeing some sort of imaginext battle. (BK7s not usually in the mix)

I could get into all the technical specs, but I built this computer about 5 years ago with only the best components. It needs some upgrades (I'm looking at you, Intel i5 2500K)! I play L4D2 all the time on it and it plays that fine, but BF3 and Guild Wars 2 it has some problems on high graphics.

My favorite spot is on my uncle's property a couple miles from my house. I fish and camp there all the time, with my Beckers, of course.

P.S. the lighting in my room sucks.

My one issue, my favorite place in the ENTIRE planet, I can't carry my Beckers too. The blades on all of them are too big to legally carry in Chicago. However I will get some pictures up here soon.
