Figured I'd take this opportunity to show off a cool operating system.

But if you need it, here's the messy desk too (BK9 resting just under the monitor). You get bonus points (in your own contest?), by the way, if you can tell me what movie that is playing on my TV...

Most of the time when I'm out and about getting my money's worth out of my knives, things look like this (note the sheathed BK9 in the shadow of my prodigious belly). Ignore that high right elbow - that's a bad habit I may try to break one of these days.

Most of the time I'm on the laptop which is set up in the corner, my wife tells me it looks like I'm in a time out.

My favorite place to be is in my backyard around a fire with friends and family.

Camron said he liked your battle station the best, however he is disappointed in the lack of a second monitor. Really the monitor situation for all y'all is disturbingly... lacking He forgives you, also he just purchased a 16 recently and is partial to your 16 pic as well.

He did mention he enjoyed kakefat's outdoor desk, but ol_sc's was the best.

my laptops have 17 inch high rez monitors, with virtual desktops, i don't need a "large" monitor, they are fully 1920x1200 plus that iPad gives me more virtual real-estate

course, the real power is in my co-lo with fully-redundant hardware load-sharing 365x7 x 64 nodes or something

i am amused in finally breaking down and buying a color duplex laser printer - $350 or so, full toner trays, super simple to setup, yet vasty complex for my future needs. i'm a few cables short of being one of those "graphic artist types", but really, i do the web (see the book)

congrats to the winner, even if he did use blue lights and a fancy case.

Very cool how many archery nuts I saw in this thread; cool contest Capt! I woulda entered, but they frown on us taking pictures of my current deployed location, and its a VERY long way from my favorite place!
