Pre Ban Ivory

Do you have any type of documentation regarding the pre-ban status of this ivory ?? If so, I may be interested in it, otherwise I would be scared to own it.

I had to get in on this sorry but if the ivory is in the US and it is elephant it is legal they tried to pass that bill but they found out that every old piano even in the white house would be against the law you can sell it you just cant import it .
 
This Ivory came from an estate of a deceased knifemaker and I have a receipt. It was purchased from a supplier in the mid nineties.

African Elephant On the C.I.T.E.S. Endangered Species List. Importing, buying, and selling of African elephant ivory is not allowed internationally. It cannot be imported into or exported out of the U.S. or practically any other country of the world. It is legal to own, buy, sell or ship within the United States and there are no permits or registration requirements (those were required for importation into the U.S.).
