Hello everyone! We are The Canadian Outdoor Equipment Co. Our specialty is high quality outdoor gear. One of the brands we represent is Helle Knives from Norway. Les Stroud just finished designing the Temagami with Helle and it is outstanding! We will be hosting Les Stroud and Helle on Feb 26th at the Toronto Outdoor Adventure show for the official release of the knife. This will be the first time it will be available to the public exclusively through The Canadian Outdoor Equipment Co. Can you give some more info ? What are the two sandwiched blades composed of - is it the same as the VG10 from Japan? Is the non stainless goingto be available after the first 500 or is that it ? Can I get a Les Stroud signed knife from you ? (sent out of Canada)

Not many specifics to report. The blade steel will be the same as the Helle Fjording as far as the carbon version. There is rumored to be a second run of the carbon version shortly after the first one. We can ship to anywhere in the US and you can secure your knife by pre ordering it now. I'll have to get back to you on the autographed version.
