And which (if multiple) of those are you looking most forward too?

I only have the gso 6 in 3V so far and i know i have a long wait ahead but i am very excited to see if it lives up to all the hype! I feel it will..

I also plan to try add a 4.1 at some point/as soon as possible!
But i am still trying to decide between 3V and 20CV for it. Damn my ever changing mind.

I've got a matching pair of 4.5's (black linen) and a 12 (camo canvas) ordered. I think the 12 will be pretty awesome but it has some stiff competition to move its way into my pack as my main chopper.

The wait for the 4.5's is excruciating though. Knowing I had these coming and wanting to free up cash for car mods I sold off a buncha knives... I only have my one remaining jimpless 4.1, a mora, and just recently picked up a Carothers Field Knife in the 4-5" blade range. I'm a firm believer in selling knives if I don't at least use them once in a while, but having this few is giving me withdrawals.

It will be exciting to see how the 4.5 and 12 turn out considering they are both completely new models.

Which choppers of yours will the 12 be competing against?
It is hard to assume, but the 12 looks like it will very effective and beast of a chopper. Even the 10 is an effective chopper although it is not designated nor designed purely to be one. So i think the 12 is going to be better than expected.

It is always hard selling off knives no matter the reason.
I recently sold a ka bar tanto for the same reason, i did not find any use for it. It was to tactical like to be useful to me. That being said, it is never easy letting go haha.

Of all models the 6, 4.1 and 8 would be the first i would order if i could afford all 3. So nice choices! Did you go with 3V for all?
I am verrrry curious to see how the 8 turn outs! I have never been a fan of larger knives until i saw the gso 8 design.

Waiting for just 1 pre-order is hard enough..i cant imagine waiting on 3 :D
 
I popped for my first pre-sale... a 2.7 the other day. In the past I've held off, not wanting to tie up my fun money for months (well over a year). Since the 2.7 is supposed to be "a few months" I went for it.
 
The very first knife I placed a preorder for is the GSO 7/7 but I am no longer sure if I still want the 7/7 or go for a 6, or 8 instead? Other than the 7/7 which I am still waiting for, I also have a 4.1 and 3.5, and just a few days ago, a 2.7 added to the list. Of all, I am most excited about the 4.1 as I feel that it is the most ideal size to carry on a short hike. For camping I think the 5.1 or 4.7 would be ideal. Right now, an Esee 3 and 4 is what I carry on short hikes until my GSO comes along.
 
Right now i have a 3.5, 4.7, 6, and 12 on order. I have so far a 2.7, sk4.7 and old spec 3.5

I'm very anxiously awaiting the new spec 6!

I will probably acquire a 7/7 at some point, no matter how much I fight it
 
After buying a used 4.1 last year I instantly put an order in for the 4.5. Just picked up a 5.1 off the secondary market and am amazed at the new ergos. Scored a 4.7 on the monday sales and just got in on the 2.7 and new 4.1 special presale. I'm gonna have S!K knives coming outta my ears for the next few months [emoji41]

I agree scissors, i think 6 will be amazing. Due to my limited funds and only being able to pre-order 1 i opt'd for the 6 as hopefully the perfect size.

Which have you been most impressed with so far PooN?
 
3.5, 4.5, 4.7CruForge, 2.7, 12(I wants it now), ordering a 10 on Friday, and will definitely have an 8 on order before September 5th.

Everything I have on order is 3V. I love the toughness ot this steel in the form of the old spec PHT, now I am hoping it will be off the charts.
 
Yes, i think the new HT will satisfy all expectations and then some!
Have you had any rust issues with yours? I know most of it is just surface rust and mostly comes off. But i am curious if it has been a issue at all.
 
You know, my tastes and 'priorities' change pretty often. One month I'm sure I need to get that AR build going, the next I'm trying to figure out which folder I REALLY need.
I've held off the preorder, when they come out and I see some pics in hand I'll try to snag one.
That being said, the 8 is the one that's been in my basket and had the cursor over the 'buy now' button the most.

Haha i hear ya rcb! I have the same dilemma when trying to decide which knife to save and aim to purchase next.
"Aim" because most of what i want is hard to get and limited haha.

I usually wait a few weeks or months to make sure i am 100% sure i want to persue a certain knife
So far besides my long awaited pre-order 6, only the gso 4.1 and rmd have lasted in terms of really craving a knife.
And the rmd is now on its way. 4.1 next ;)

I say, if the 8 keeps bugging you, cave and give in :D

On order, either pre-order or pre-sale, I've got a 4.1 in 3V, two 4.7's (3V and Cru Forge), a 5.1 in 3V, a 6 in 3V, and a 7/7 in 3V. Yeah, I got a lot of money tied up in these guys.
 
3.5 20CV, 4.5, 6 3V, 10. All of them "we have steel".
I don't think I'll need to spend much on knives in 2017. :)
 
I am waiting for these 4.5, 5.1, 6, 7/7, 8, 10 and 12. I almost ordered the 4.1 (pre-sale) but it is sold out when I can pull the trigger. I hope I don't kick myself for not getting it earlier when I see Andy's.
