I bought this Ka-bar Mark 1 and used it twice. The pomel and the snap for the sheath has rash marks from carrying. The finish on the blade is coming off on the tip. The tip is straight and the blade edge is very sharp. I like this knife but the blade thickness is a little thin for my liking so I'm buying a Gerber strongarm instead as a budget knife for my pack. Please reach out if you're interested.
