Heat treated by Paul Bos for 61 RC
Blade: 3 3/8"
OAL : 7 1/2"

All hand made.

Handle is cocobolo and toxic green g10 liners. Glued with G-Flex epoxy. Sanded to 1500, then buffed.

Retention in sheath is very tight: you will need two hands to unsheath.

There are a few minor sanding scratches around the plunge lines and on the pins.

Flats are left rough.

Bevels are sanded to 600 grit. They came out looking nice.

all hand work with files and sandpaper is a whole lot of hard work . I would not dare use CPM with just those tools . Looks good for using that steel . It is as hard as a rock before the heat treat .
 
Are there two different sheaths?
The first two pics showing the sheath have stitching near where the forefinger area is, but the third and fourth pics do not have this.

It is the same sheath just slightly modified. The extra stitches are where I put in a cam. The cam really makes the knife stay in there tight.
 
Sometimes I install a cam as a retrofit thing. I am afraid to build in a cam at the start of the sheath making process, because if I get it wrong, the knife won't even go in.
