precision drill press recommendations

I need to replace my well worn small drill press and would like to move up to a fairly high precision model. The budget is fairly flexible. I would be drill to a maximum of 1/4" holes and as small as #60. It will be used for folders with the occasional fixed blade thrown in. Maximum steel would be 440C 3/16 thick. What do you recommend.
Thanks
Steve

Would 0.003 runout be acceptable? If so, then a good chuck on decent drill press is likely to strain this. Do you want a bench or floor press?

Aciera milling machines and drilling machines were generally acknowledged to be the finest made in Switzerland.

Maybe you can find a used one.

I've been using a small bench top Jet with a good German made keyless chuck. Plenty accurate for full time folder making since the mid 90s'.

If you're daring you could look for a good condition Burgmaster 0B. I'd post a link to one, but I think
that links to fleabay are against the rules even if they're for informational purposes. Just search for
"burgmaster turret drill". Folder makers who have them, love them.

Thanks Guys for all the suggestions. I am leaning towards one of the small mini mills with the square column. I already have one of them that I use for milling so getting a second one for the drilling means I don"t have to buy a lot of tooling. Any downside to this idea that you can see?

Thanks
Steve
