I'm suprised no one is interested in this stuff. I couldn't find precision ground micarta or g10 offered by any of the suppliers so I had to special order and entire 4 foot by 6 foot sheet.
Ohh well, guess not as many folks use it for spacer material as I thought.
 
I suppose it could but I don't see the need for precision ground spacers on a fixed blade. Plus it's kinda thick for that use.

It could be used for handles but since it's precision ground it's more expensive than regular g10 so you'd be better off ordering some g10 from a supplier like Sheffield's or K&G.

IS it possible to just get a little piece? I have one folder I'm working on now, then I will probably kill myself if I ever make another one, so I just need a little hunk.
 
Sure Steve, you can get a small piece if that's all you need.
Of course I'll have to charge you for the full sheet since once I cut some off it I won't be able to sell it to anyone as a full sheet.
I'll also have to charge you a cutting fee since the stuff is major nasty on bandsaw blades.
Probably have to add in a little p.i.b. fee too figuring since you asked for a little chunk, more people are bound to ask.
