Fall is here and when not deer hunting I'll work predator control carrying a 119.
Today was a foggy morning and I was out working brushy draws coyote calling. These 2 came in and I took them with my shotgun. DM
 
Gents it's your turn to get out in the woods and have an adventure with you Buck. DM
 
David, You turned those into the best type of coyotes - dead ones! As soon as all this rain gets out of here, and some of the water backs down, I'm taking my blackpowder rifle out for a little deer hunting during the BP season (OCT 3rd through 16th). OH

Craig, Your funny. The limb you noticed is dried cholla. Plenty of it can be found laying all around here. Let me know if your wife wants some. That cactus dies of drought or cold winter and lays and petrifies. Leroy has used some on knife handles. I don't think my wife would wear a coyote skin jacket. A caribou parka would be a different story. She's ask for a Bobcat jacket but those skins sell for 2$$ and we have a daughter in college. Thanks, DM
 
Nice shooting David. Get all the coyotes you can.

I'm hoping to get out for just a little hunting this fall too. I'm thinking grouse, up near camp.

I usually carry one of my 500's with me for grouse David. There will be photographs if I can connect with any.
