Super first snag nbf!!! I was late by 5 minutes!!!! A great combo of materials on this one! Alan never disappoints!!

Thanks drh. New to this forum. I have seen some of Alan's knives and I like the work and materials. I don't collect knives, I use them and only buy from makers. I appreciate the work put into them. But I'm wondering if I should use this one or put it away? lol

Whether you decide to use it or not is up to you. Alan makes knives that look like art, but work like hell....

Alan's going to keep making knives, no reason you can't have more than one, just ask Dennis!!

Welcome nbf.
I might not chop wood with it but I would defently carry it and show it off.
Alan's knives are awesome! And just wait until you open and close it. Most people think it's a assisted opener its so smooth.

Hey ..... I represent that remark!!!! Think koa is some really nice wood. When I saw I missed this one, I had to make a B line to my knife chest and put this one in my pocket so I would not feel so bad!

All but one or two of my Davis knives get pocket time. Carry and show them off with pride. They will do just about any task you need them to accomplish. However, I personally reserve hard and dirty work to "lesser" knives. My Davis knives are just too darn good looking.

Ha! You made me laugh so hard with the first part of this post!!

Are you still running that Alan Davis thread? If so, I have some more great work to add to it....

Killer knife and congrats to the new owner

As a side note, I show my Davis knives pictures of Dennis's collection and they cry themselves to sleep

Yup, keep adding to it. It's over in the Gallery. My hope is that everyone with one (or several) of Alan's knives posts pics to showcase his outstanding work.

Just arrived. Beautiful. Pocket clip is perfect. Sits low in pocket. thank you Alan.

Sorry, been away from this thread.

I will add some pics to Dennis' thread on the weekend.

I will need your help with that Dennis, I will send you a PM....

Looking forward to more killer work from Alan!
