I went on a quick overnight with a buddy this weekend. When it came time to fix dinner, we realized that we were without one critical piece of gear. I selected a piece of wood, deployed my RS6 Predator WSK, and went to work.

Baton cutting a piece to length:

Splitting the piece:

More splitting, assembly, and woodcraft wizardry ensues, but is not pictured, and then ta-da! Vital tool completed! Now we can flip our steaks and turn our potatoes!

Hahaaha.

I went out the other night to the forest to cook some chicken over the fire.

2 forks + rubber band + stick in middle = tongs

You can't get anymore bushcrafty than that. Good job and nice pics. I think I will leave the tongs at home next time and just make a set.
