i am mulling my first anodized knife purchase and struggling with it. On the one hand it is cool looking and in many cases can make a knife just pop. But on the other hand I worry as the knife gets wear and tear the anodizing will just make the wear stand out even more. And I worry that that the anodizing color, after a month, will just wear thin on me mentally. In other words, not very timely.

You guys love em, hate em, like your knives raw, think they wear bad over time, or what? Looking for thoughts from those who have been down this road.

Thanks

Why not get both, I like the simple plain look of raw ti, but also like having a little color in life sometimes... the anodizing seems to hold up quite well for edc, a little honest wear adds character, kinda like light stone wash.. just my opinion.... the two things to remeber, you can have more than one & there are no wrong answers

Good luck, enjoy

Both are enjoyable to me, depending on the knife in question. Which model are you considering?

I personally have really liked many of the custom anodized knives I either personally had done, or purchased on the secondary market. One good thing, is you can always have a knife re-anodized to a different color, or in the case of a Ti Millie & CRK Sebbie I had- I did a scotch bright finish and removed the anodized color.

Had you posted a survey for this thread, I'd vote: go for it!

Please post pictures if you do! :)
