Looking at the knives in my collection, I would have to say that I prefer the rope style from the earlier generations. The ones with the butt grind (NICK XXXL and the Satin Jack Variant) are even better.
The best feeling are the sheep horn ones on the custom Leaner Meaner, but I figured that those don't really count.

I keep reading from you big HOGs that the straight handle is where it's at. It doesn't look that comfortable to me, but I have not held one. So as you say, I aint'a knowin' nuttin'. Can you explain why you feel like it is so great?Bravado said:
