I was wondering what the most common knife carry position was so I thought a poll might answer it. Thanks
I should have asked clipped to a front or rear pocket. Please forgive the oversight.

I prefer to carry a large fixed blade in a dangler sheath.
Or a medium fixed blade inverted with kydex.
I also carry pocket knives clipped in my front pockets, SAK inside the pocket.
I don't like IWB, because I don't tuck in my shirt, and it is harder to get at.

I remove the pocket clips on my carry knives and drop them into my right front pocket.

I was just thinking about how most people carry their knives and I did not know the answer. I thought most people might not care one way or the other but I decided what the heck go ahead and ask.

In the office I wear smaller fixed blades IWB/RR and folders are FR pockets.

I used always carry in my rear pocket and often do. Unless on driving the car and then I try to switch to my right front pocket of so I can access the need to a primarily so don't have to cringe at the sound of the clip scraping across my leather seats. Also seems be a fashion nowadays for pants to come with a double front pocket in this case like at the moment I don't mind carrying in my front pocket. However I habitually put my hands in my pockets so is uncomfortable for me to carry in my front pocket if I'm walking around a lot. All some notes hesitate to say this I prefer a semi concealed carry which rear pocket carry with an untucked shirt usually provides not for any tactical reason. But just because I don't always want to be seen is that guy carrying a knife.

I carry one in the bottom of my front right pocket,one in each front pocket high on clips, and wear a cross draw 3 incher on my belt. And I rotate neck knives daily. I guess that makes four every day carrys.
Sunday mornings, bottom of my front right pocket only. :-)

Front right, front left, rear left.....sometimes waistband depending on how frisky I am almost never neck knife it but I do have a keychain knife hahahaha.

In front right pocket if I'm carrying a fixed blade (usually a Becker Necker in its sheath), or clipped to frong right picket if I'm carrying a folder.

Depending on where I am and what I'm doing, I'll supplement this arrangement with a belt sheath for a folder (a DDR-3 or Buck Alpha) or fixed blade.

I once lost a blade when carrying in my rear pocket, so I steer clear of that for now.

As a complete aside, has anyone else found that their belt sheath is often mistaken for a cell phone pouch?

Primary = front right
Secondary = front left
Tertiary = right cargo

*assuming I am carry more than 1, which i do on some occasions.*

2 on the belt, around back, in cordura sheaths. These are always kept hidden by untucked shirt. 1 in the lower right cargo pocket of my BDU trousers. This is where I keep the wave opening Delica 4 for a fast draw!

A lot of my pants and shorts have carpenter's tool/cellphone pockets on the right leg. That's my prefered EDC location, but if I don't have that, it goes right front. I also usually have something in my left rear pocket as well.

Primary,I have found the best combination of access, security and concealment with a Benchmade 710, IWB. It becomes more problematic the fatter I get, but still works, and has for 9 years.:D

Auxillary is in each pocket, except rear right, where wallet is, and one in each jacket pocket. Yes, I EDC 6 knives.

My favorite carry position is RR IWB. I carry in my watch pocket and if I am going to be around delicate people I use my ankle carry kydex holster.

G'day,
2 in pouch, 1 in RF, plus on weekends fixed blade on belt (if no belt, in shirt pocket). You only asked about knives, right?
Greg

Right front pocket (clipped) for my modern folders. Right front pocket (floating) for my slipjoints and SAKs. Belt sheath, right side for fixed blades.
