Mostly in a leather sheath on my right side. The sheath frees up pocket space for a cell phone, keys, money, lighter, cigarette case, comb...

I used to simply drop it into my front or back right pocket, but i carry way too much stuff.

While at work, small FB, right side, on the belt, and small multi-tool in right front pocket. Off duty, same, with the possible inclusion of a necker.

I have lost several knives with the clips so I always carry folders in a sheath on my belt.

clipped to both front pockets, assuming the knives they are tip up.
if not i just put them in the back pocket.
my right front pocket edc is 5" closed, so jeans can be unconfortable when sitting, but i'm in miami - so it's pretty much cargo shorts and flip-flops 300+ days a year.

guys like wolverine or edward scissorhands don't have to think about this kinda stuff, huh?

I always carry a fairly large folder(Ontario Retribution 1, BM Rukus, etc) clipped to my right front pocket and a more utilitarian type folder lays in my left pocket.
One thing I've discovered is to carry that big folder all by itself and that way no change to slip in beside the blade!

I usually carry my main folder clipped to my right front pocket, a small slipjoint or folder in my left back pocket.

I carry at least 2 knives, usually 3. I carry the in tthe left front pocket, right fron pocket, and IWB. Unless the 3rd knife is a SAK or my Spin, in which the SAK is in the bottom of my left front pocket, and the Spin is clipped to my watch pocket. I NEVER carry a knife in the rear pockets, ever. I don't like to, and it would a) ruin the seats in my truck b) be easy for someone to take. (I don't like S.O.B carry for firearms either.)

Well the poll is answering my question nicely. I thought there would be more IWB people.
Thanks to all who have replied to the poll so far.

To the rear pocket folks, doesn't it get in the way when you sit down? I've carried in the front pocket all my life and never tried it, but seems like it would cause some discomfort if it was a medium/large folder.

Modern folders go front right pocket. Victorinox Classic in my small change pocket or in my wallet. Always keep a regular sized sak sitting vertical next to my wallet in the rear right pocket.

Isn't uncomfortable for me when I sit down that way.

not at all, I'm carrying my bump in my back pocket right now. though it can mess up wood and leather covered chairs. and I rarely wear anything but jeans.

One in right front pocket. One in left front pocket. One in right back pocket. One on belt. One in neck sheath. :D

I switched from right pocket carry to waistband on my right side to free up pocket space. I like to have both hands in my pockets.

Not a problem for me but I only carry small folders. I cannot get used to having a folder clipped to my front pockets. They are in the way when I reach for my wallet, keys, or phone.

If it is a folder with a pocket clip, I favor the waistband of my pants just behind my right hip bone. It is handy, inconspicuous, and doesn't interfere with using my pants pockets.

BM 710 D2 clipped in right front pocket (awesome knife). Spydie Ladybug loose in left front pocket as a loaner, and for those extremely rare times I want a sheeple-friendly blade. No one is scared of a Ladybug.

cheers

For fixed blades: Horizontal back on belt for the sheaths that will accommodate that. Right side, behind hip otherwise. Right front pocket for folders of all types (Gotta wave that Maxx right?)
