These arrows fly great!

Box of goodies i got in from Granite today! Thanks again for the trade, I appreciate this stuff brother, you saved me several purchases!!

Bow strung, tips on the arrows, and ready to rock and roll!

5 shots at at time, Round 1

Round 2

Round 3

Now thats what im talking about right there :D

Round 1 i was aiming for the circle with the box in it, Round 2 and 3 i was aiming for the circle with all the writing in it, so im not hitting my exact aim point but my grouping was a little better with each round. It is indeed a whole lot of fun, I really want to get outside and try different ranges now, the basement is better than nothing but the roof down there is low, at about 6.5 feet so i started round 1 legs apart kind of squatting a little just to keep my upper riser from hitting the roof beams, round 2 and 3 i shot with 1 knee on the floor.

nice shooting, woody. if you are gonna hunt with that bow, maybe also try shooting from a chair or stool to get the feeling of shooting from a sitting position ( like a tree stand)

Good to see that stuff getting some use. Looks like you're getting the hang of it! Didja use the glove or the tab?

Well i tried the tab out at first but it just felt weird LMAO so i ended up using the glove, but i plan to try the tab out some more and see if i can get used to it.

And this stuff will be getting loads of use, that you can bet on :D This stuff will have to fall apart before it stops being used, archery is addictive!!

Man I didnt even think of that, thanks for the tip, with the roof being so low that would be more comfortable than kneeling and also helpful in learning should i decide to hunt!!

Great tip man, i appreciate it!!

WW. Your a pretty good shot!
Now go clip those fingernails you mongrel! :D

When I first got into archery, I used a tab for about 5 months. When I started bow-hunting, I shifted to a finger-glove because I found it a easier (for me) to knock an arrow and other tasks with a glove rather than the tab. I found the tab a little easier to use early on, but with the glove, I soon passed my tab accuracy. On the other hand, I knew some folks who would only use a tab.

Yea ill have to give the tab another shot, i just like my fingers being able to move freely from each other when grabbing an arrow and nockin it. Im use to gloves, so even though this is a little different than a regular glove its still feels "normal" to me.

Just saw hunger games lots of archery action in that but not realistic of course. Now I find myself sitting on the couch watching Robin Hood. Arrows abound!!!
