Hello dear brothers,
Thanks Good God between other projects and orders today i was able to finish these two premium slim puukkos
For the blade i used 0.09" thick 80crv2 high carbon tool steel that features a super sharp scandi zero grind and a forged finish.
The handle is a mix of some marvelous looking materials both through look and also through value. We have some A grade stabilized maple burl with some extreme pattern and another piece of a one of a kind azure stab and dyed maple burl with deep and contrasting colors.
For the bolsters for both knives genuine stabilized mammoth ivory was used, an extremely valuable material with a superb look and feel - the Schreger lines are nicely visible and truly enhance the appearance.
These are the first two knives using our new 'tri-grade' mark a nice looking and useful add - there are three dots in the corners of an imaginary triangle that are filled in white with the following indications about the knife wearing it:
- 1 dot filled - workhorse knife (our well established quality, with a nice fit and finish and strong ready for heavy use materials for the handle)
- 2 dots filled - premium knife (same quality and fit as the workhorse knife but wearing more classy materials and slight better finishing)
- 3 dots filled - luxury knife (same quality and fit as the workhorse knife but wearing luxurious and even precious materials and a matching finish)
Overall the knives measure app 7.7" with an app 3.55" blade.
The price is 135 usd each and any of the knives
All and only the best, God bless,
Bogdan
