Prepare for a takeover.... The secret order of the leg knife is no longer a secret.

Did someone say "leg knife"? ;-)

French Kate, Pink Awabi Shell acrylic.

Only a few hundred other choices in front of it on my bucket knife list.

I just can't get into leg knives and doubt I ever will, but they always, without fail, remind me of the movie and the leg lamp, a movie I watch without fail ever Christmas. So for that reason, I guess leg knives aren't all bad:)

A more Lady like leg in ivory. ;-)) No nasty drinkingman opener. ;-)

That is pretty cool! May I ask, is that knife in the catalog the exact same one you have? It surely looks pretty close :-)
As for the Great Eastern legs... and though they surely do not mass produce them... they are out there in readily available status (and likely will be for a while). Their pricing and mostly nolvelty regarded status, has kept them on the unsold shelves.

Hi Jimmy
Same knife but a different maker, the one I have is a Bingham and Ogden also of sheffield. 7 bucks a dozen in 1901 for Ivory, and that tiny blade would be a serious pain to make. The swedge is beautifully ground and the long nick is a hair width.

Best regards

Robin
