Prepare to be underwhelmed... My Work Area

1938, wow does it have one of the old metal deer tags on it? I've got some I wouldn't cut either.

Indiana still has metal tags :D Nice lil' corner Greg! how do you like that HF 4x36? I recognized the MR2 as well Nice car! I often pass a nicely restored mid 80's AE86 on my daily commute... I drive a 95 Honda Civic Dx with a JDM D15, CAI, and Stainless exhuast, with a spoon body kit that is now destroyed  (thank you mr deer and Mr Unbelievably large raccoon)

Jason,

I find that the 4x36 has limited usefulness in knife making. Here are the main uses I have found for it

1) Removing excess resin from freshly stabilized blocks
2) Flattening the sides and spine on a blade
3) Sanding the pin down to the level of the handle

Otherwise it is too big and underpowered for most of the other sanding and grinding I do.

I have a craftsman, and I use it as you do too. Mine is underpowered as well. I've wondered about upgrading the motor but that would mean a total rebuild for me
