I was looking around for some info on rehandling an axe and came across this video. Had to watch it and boy was I impressed.

Now how about some info on how to do a rehandle. May not be the place to ask but I need to know.

Thanks for posting the video. It's quite surprising that he was using softwood and with a knot right in the middle of the handle. Loved the way he used his knife and axe.

I noticed that knot and was wondering how that would work.

Wellll, I figure it would break pretty quickly, I'm sure it was softwood he was working. It could have been a film to simply show the technique of shaping a handle.

Not only is that impressive wood working skills making the axe handle, but the vid gave me a new idea for making kindling and feather sticks for fire making...
