I just got this and I think it's pretty nice looking. The jigged bone scales are different, but what I find really nice is the laminated wood fillers between the slabs.

It's a little browner than the picture shows it, I think it picked up a little red reflection from the background. It's a little rosy for my taste, but it is what it is and I'll live with it. :)
 
What 'cha gonna skin Dave? Not that ole tom cat than lives in your barn?:eek:

Nice 103 Dave!I like that. I bet that will be a nice collectible down the road! (unless of course it gets used soon :D) Any idea on how many they made like that?

I don't know Jim. It's a build out and I have no idea how many they made.

If I skin that cat, I'll use something else. If I use the 12ga., I might not have to skin it at all. :thumbup:

I wasnt critisizing, but asked because the file pic on the web special page looked almost like it had straberry jam on it. Yours not so much at all, but a hint of red.
 
Red is good......I like red in a bone handle. Looks nice.

Funny that they don't warn you about the laminated wood filler in the Web Specials ad, though.
 
Standard box, and I found I had a nice brown sheath for it. It goes better with the bone handles than the black. I really think the laminate between the slabs adds a nice touch, I'm glad they did that.:thumbup:

Cool critter there too!
 
I'll take one tomorrow when I get the time. I'm dealing on another Harley, so I may be tied up for a bit.

I have a few stag 192's with the wood insert's.

I like that real sweet pink picked bone 103, I may have to get on for my daughter;). It really is a unique 103.
