This is the best looking stag jigged bone I have ever seen,it looks very much like the real thing.
This knife is 3 1/2" long closed,5/16 thick at its thickest point and weighs 1.8 oz.
The blade is Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel @ 59 Rc,3/32" thick,2 5/16" long,hand rubbed to 400 grit,hollow ground and pivots an a 3/16" stainless steel bushing. I grind these blades very thin,.010",before sharpening. This knife has a half stop position and the spring is flush in all three positions,the blade has good strong action and is easy to open and is very slightly off center when closed.
The integral bolster/liners are milled out of 416 stainless steel and have a milled relief to prevent radial scratches on the tang. The bolsters are hand rubbed to a 400 grit finish. All pins are 416 stainless.
The scales are amber stag jigged bone,polished to a high luster.
