Awhile back Yangdu sent me a box of knives. I sometimes think it's a temptation to see if I can return them, sometimes it's really hard to do. I get kind of attached.
Anyhow I worked on the handles some, one I just sanded and oiled the grain was so pretty I thought it best left untouched. Put some elk antler on a micro bowie.
She said I could post some pictures. They'll be heading back to Reno hopefully tomorrow and she'll post them as she finds the time.

WOW! Great job! Looks like a real labor of love right there. Probably took a good amount of time too. All look amazing but that Sarge Knife beckons me. I will definitely have to get a Cherokee Rose one day too. Those small ones makes my knees weak. I can only imagine the temptation to keep them. Also, would you mind sending me a private message or email? I'd like to know if you would be interested in doing a job for me.

Wow that elk MMB is singing loudly! Also love that checkering on those other MMBs. I might need to swoop on one of those...but will need to be fast!

It's more fun on rainy days, just have to have your mind right. I got a bunch of new cutters hopefully enroute. Mine are pretty worn down so an always slow process is even slower.
Gives me something to do and keeps me off the street sometimes.

Very nice looking work Bawanna! I especially like that light colored JKM? Its simple but elegant! Those Cherokee Rose are under rated in my book. They are one of those knives you just have to hold in your own hands to really appreciate them. Definitely an EDC blade!

Agreed, they fit the hand well. I checkered two of them, the third looked so pretty after I sanded it and oiled it that I left it alone. All were extremely nice.

I thought light colored handled knife was a Sarge Knife? I told Bawanna that I hope I miss when Yangdu posts that one or my wife might end up using it on me.

I'm not even sure, I thought Sarge knife as well but maybe JKM. I still haven't figured out all the models. Lousy memory.

Eric I believe that is the Sarge. I’ve got 2 and love them. Great hunting knives with the curve in the belly. Great skinner!
After a while I got bored with the larger knives and bought as many small ones as was offered. I still haven’t pulled the trigger on a Pen Knife yet. I had to let it grow on me first.
I think I’m ready for one.
If you don’t have a Sarge, get one. You won’t regret it.
