This is just a preview until I get the second half.

Behold! My new matched JK Kepharts!

01 steel
Tiger stripe maple
White liners

oooooooh yeah.
Here's my first JK compliment. The full-size Kephart initially feels better in the hand than any other fixed blade I've owned.

If it performs as well, then I've found my new favorite fixed blade.

Part two: I'm taking these two to JRE to have a custom piggyback sheath built.

I'll take a bunch of pics then.

PS the stein is my other present. A hand-made, numbered, Germain beer stein depicted Gambrinus, the King of Beer.

Very nice knives.
Thats a good lookin' Steinkrug ;) as well

Yes that stein is my little way of saying prost to Gambrinus.

I tell you what though. I should have you buy me steins and ship them. I'm pretty sure the price doubles when us stupid tourists buy them from stores here in the US.

I have to admit that I don't know nothing about them, other than how to use 'em.:D So I cant say If they'r cheaper or not.
You'd think they are, but even German made knives (Boker) are cheaper in the US.

Peter
p.s: of course I could ship them to the states for you.

Those are real nce bro, I think even Mrs Pit would like the look of the mini Kep !!!

I was skeptical of the pocket Kephart but that thing is awesome! Fits a three-finger grip just perfect for me. Then my thumb rides almost all the way down the spine. Talk about control over the knife! I could probably perform surgury with this guy :) It will be the perfect thing for making those little notches in traps and such.

Glad you are pleased with them, and that they arrived safely! A lot of people think of the Pocket Kephart as a "novelty item" untill they actually hold one in their hand. After they use it for awhile, they realize it`s a practical alternative to a pocket knife.

I'm completely sold on big knife/little knife combos. I started with the chopweiler/swampwarden, and now have the big kephart/little kephart.
