Here's something different and if a moderator wants to challenge it - no problem...Just thought I'd offer it for the holidays....Fresh from my shop....Full size hardwood tomahawk / hatchet comprised as follows: Head is solid, aged maple with ebony strip inserted in the poll. Handle is hand formed from AAA grade American beech and smooth as "butter". The head is attached by friction fit, glued and secured by walnut wedge...overall length is 16"...Embellished with bison and arrowhead wood burning....The edge is sanded to approx. 1/8" and could be taken to a keener appearance...Artist initials / year are burned into bottom of handle.
This is a studio quality model with the symmetry of head / handle being spot-on...many hours on this "labor of love"....I thought it might make a nice gift for a kid (or grandkid). This is one of a kind made in the Front range of the Rockies.....Asking $70>>>$50 delivered to your door CONUS + 2 only
