Full custom hoplite- Jeff said he only made between 80-90 of these babies. Silky smooth (ceramic bearings and detent), locks up super solid side to side but you can muscle a little movement up and down. I spoke to Jeff (owner of aegis knife works ) and he stands behind his work 100%. If it bothered you , he will refurb it for you. He will fix the lock rock issue and he even offered to re - acid etch and stonewash the blade should you want to do that. (I just prefer satin blades). As you can see the handles were bead blasted and show signs of carry (character
) , and the blade was brushed satin to remove the acid etch, then stonewashed, then the flats were satin/semi polished. So stonewashed grinds- semi polished flats. Looks good and hides wear- great for a user! It's a badass, smooth, rare edc.. I've had it awhile and just looking for something new- the xm18 fatty is top on the list at the moment. ;-) since it's a user and has a small amount of lock rock when muscled I'm dropping the price super low for quick sale. Price is very firm. (These sold for $725 new and are normally $750ish on the secondary market)
