Offered here is Luke Smith custom made Tanto in 1095 steel with a subtle hamon, also included is custom made kydex sheath. The scales are red line micarta - really a burgundy wine color.
This is a very slightly used knife - like new. It has cut nothing more than paper and string. I purchased it directly from the Smith. I like everything about it but these days I favor belt clip folders and this great knife is not getting any use.
Will come with a certificate of authenticity from the Luke Smith. You can see in the last photo his lightly etched maker's mark on the blade with his initials and serial number 174.
The specs according to Luke:
Tanto style - fixed blade
1/8" thick 1095 steel
Subtle hamon - oven fired, oil quenched, oven tempered
completely handmade

It will arrive sharp, though could always be sharper.
I made the kydex sheath. It has a built in loop to fit a 2" wide belt.

PLEASE NOTE - In order to reduce shipping cost I will likely remove the sheath loop. It will be a separate piece in the box with the knife and the sheath. The loop is easily refastened with a straight tip screwdriver.
