Alan Davis

Nice little desk knife or EDC fixed blade. I am not sure the blade steel but it has a nice mirror polished edge and beautiful Desert Ironwood scales with mosaic pins. It also has a matching ironwood bead on leather lanyard. This Alan Davis has some interesting file work on the spine of the blade...take a look it is a snake! Its pretty neat and I have seen nothing like it before. Did I mention the sheath is horizontal carry so you can strap it up to your belt and put your shirt over it and no one will expect a thing! Asking what I paid $140
OAL= 6.5"
Blade length= 3"

Phillip Patton

Great Phillip Patton hunter design. Has trusty old O1 blade steel and desert ironwood scales. Comes with a beautiful custom sheath. It is one of my favorite sheaths. It is classic and has almost has a broken in feeling about it, very cool. In hand this knife feels great for a fixed blade and would be a great to take down game; that's a lot coming from a butcher for 5 years. It is very comfortable in hand indeed. Plus it is a great cutter and slicer for sure. Asking very fair price of only $sold
OAL= 8 &7/8"
Blade length= 4.25"

Backwoods custom

This is a looker: rain drop damascus, mosaic pin, deep grain elder box wood handlges, decorative bead. This knife is another knife that feels great in hand. The thick handle gives a full grip and a place to rest your thumb and index finger when doing control work where they meet the blade. Wood grain and damascus are perfect. It is overall a sharp looking knife. Then there is the sheath that has a nice leather engraved pattern and hugs the knife perfectly! Asking $sold
OAL 7.75"
Blade length= 3.5"

I should mention that I can put a screaming sharp mirror polish edge on any knife for and extra 20 buck or so but this is always flexible.
Thanks for looking and happy holidays to you and yours!

The Backwoods is a beauty for sure. A full picture of the right side of the knife might convince me to pull the trigger.

Found some pics of the Backwoods. Very nice at this price without a doubt but the burl is kinda purple.

Quite likely because it's 'dyed purple box elder'.........could be wrong. Lots of box elder scales are dyed, which I have found to be quite desirable. I've got several Backwoods knives in dyed box elder (my very first Backwoods knife was dyed purple box elder)...........they are some of my most attractive knives.

Could be just the natural burl color as you suggest, I'm certainly no wood expert.

Thanks...I realize that the scales are most likely "dyed" purple. Just not in the description, thats all. Definitely a looker just not my color style.

Patton sold

I do not believe the scales are dyed but I could be in correct I think it is. One of a lighting thing. The right side looks very similar to the left but I can post a picture tonight when I get home from work (could be eight) maybe on my lunch we will see. Just pm me a email address so i can take a few with my phone and email them you? As far as shipping outside of USA. If I decided to do it, It would be on your own risk and I you would be responsible for a shipping cost that I feel comfortable with.

Sorry I addressed the International issue in a reply on this thread and I decided that I did not do want to ship international as my op stated. .. Sorry just my personal preference I hope you can understand. I
