Parting with one of my grails. As the title states, this is a Busse Custom Shop Argonne Assault Special Response Team (AA SRT). Not many of these in public hands and they don't come up for sale often. I'm the second owner and the gentleman I got this from said he was on the SRT that received these straight from Jerry, but I can't confirm that (he did sound legit). I can tell you that this is one badass knife and it is in mint condition. Since I have little girl hands, it's a smidge too big to be comfortable for me. It needs a real man to handle it. Are you a real man? Probably not, but this knife will certainly make you feel like one. I bought a new house and as we all know that puts expenditures into perspective and I can't justify having this in the safe when it can help pay for a rototiller or a chipper that I'll use all the time. Good news is I have a 2007 Special Edition AA in the safe still, so I can get my AA fix anytime with that. 
Some specs: From tip to choil, the blade is 9". Overall length is 16". Caliper says it's .245" thick. The blade coat is a dark tan in color and the handles are a lightish green. To me it feels lighter than it looks, but just because I have little hands doesn't mean I'm not stronger than you.
Asking $1100 (was $1300) shipped/insured/PayPal fees included. Sorry to the international folks, but this will be US only. PayPal or MO only.
I know you're curious if I'm interested in trades. Because I'm looking for cash but am a sucker for Busse knives, I'd be willing to accept partial trades (in order of priority sheaths with the knives would be awesome):

and possibly a Tank Buster
I'm particular to handles and finishes, but send me some pics and your trade-in value and I'll let you know what I'm willing to do. Please dont be offended if I pass on a perfectly good knife you offer. Itll have to suit me. If you're also into guns, I'm looking for a PSR or V8 Atlas bipod with qd mount or a NF 2.5-10x with MOAR reticle. Your trade item is considered part of your cash purchase so I need to receive both before I ship.

Here's the note I received from the original owner regarding the knife: "I got the knife in 2002 or perhaps somewhat later - certainly before 2008 based upon the address used to send it to me which is still on the box. IIRC I received a challenge coin (pics attached) about the same time, give or take. I never knew I was getting an Argonne Assault. In fact, I could not even confirm that everyone in group got the same knife. Jerry did tell us we would be getting a gift, then later he referred to us getting an SRT "knife." It was later yet when a box just showed up at the office - no note, no goat turd, nothing; just the knife in the box - just exactly as you are getting it."
By purchasing you certify that you are 18 or older and this thing is legal in your state.
