Can you tell me if that top edge of that custom shop rat is sharpened. I am sorry if I am asking a stupid question. I have never owned a harpoon tip so I am not sure what it entails.

It's not a stupid question. It's hard to tell with some of these pictures and models.
However, to answer your question. Yes! It is extremely sharp!
