For Sale: Used Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS USM. Includes lens hood, caps, and UV filter. Lens was purchased in 2005 and averaged less than 1000 frames/month for 4 years. Since 2009, it has been used less than a dozen times. My father and I were hobbyists, and I did some shooting my senior year of HS (2006) for the newspaper/yearbook. I shot with smaller lenses in college, and when my father passed in 2011, I pretty much stopped altogether.
Lens is in fantastic mechanical shape. Image Stabilization and Autofocus work as well as Day One. Some light dirt/wear marks on rubber grips/in crevices. This newest version of this lens would set you back ~$1500. Asking $750. For an extra $150, I'll include an EF 2x II Extender that has been used less than a dozen times. I do not know if I have the tri-pod ring mount; I'm still looking for it.
