I have for sale a knife blank that was made by a BladeForums member Mudbug007 and purchased from BF member @Ulf Krogstad in 2015. I purchased this several years ago with grand plans to work on it one day when my skills improved, but neither happened LOL and it has sat un-touched. I listed in "Gadgets & Gear" because it is not a finished knife and didn't seem to belong anywhere else.
This cleaver “blank” in CPM 154 already heat treated and cryogenically treated by Texas Knifemakers Supply (texasknife DOT COM and has a sticker on it “cryogenically treated”).
It has very nice lines and would make a sporty cleaver. It could be left thick or ground thin to be more of a vegetable cleaver or Asian style cleaver. Any of the very competent knife makers on BF are easily up to the task for a reasonable fee. It could even be turned into something other than a cleaver!!!! Maybe one of these new fancy tactical cleavers!!!
**This is a big chunk of CPM154 for the $$$$$**
Blade is 7.5" and overall is 12.5", 3/16" thickness. 2.75" from spine to edge.
