Hey guys, though it's not a folding knife it is a custom fixed blade I guess! Thought you guys could appreciate this. Selling my Kamisori straight razor made my ShaveSmith on etsy out of 01 tool steel. He makes these by custom order and he calls this one his "Rough Forged" look. Still has the hammer marks and fire scale on it with a high polished "Ura" and a lightly polished "Omote". Bought the classic strop from him too, really high quality strop. Took three months from placing the order to my door. Been shaving with it for about a month and realized shaving with a straight razor just isn't for me, but I'm glad I gave it a try. It is cool as hell. Has a very small edge roll on the very tip of the blade from where I accidentally nicked it, was hard to even capture it in the picture but I did my best. Also a few very light scratches that are only visible in the right light and angle. Doesn't affect shaving. Also throwing in my Parker synthetic brush for free. ShaveSmith also offers a honing service for all his razors and is an absolute joy to work with, great guy. If any of you guys have been interested in switching to a straight this would be a great place to start and a very nice piece to start with at that!
