I picked these up awhile back. They where brought back by a soldier in the Vietnam War vet. They where handmade by the mountain people of Thailand. Using things they could scrummage up. The guards are made from a downed aircraft from the war. The sheaths are made from to pieces of wood lashed together. Neither of these swords are 100% the same. Each has different markings on them. And the blades have different shapes. They are very interesting pieces thats why I bought them. I need the money so Im asking $250 OBO for the set. I have seen these go for $300+ a piece. I will take paypal you add the 3% Ill pay shipping which will be first class and insurance.
Remember these are old and made by mountain people they didnt have a lot of advanced ways to make these. The finder guard on on is a little loose Im guessing the put the handles on wet and they shrunk when dried. If you have any questions please ask. Or If you want more pictures please ask.
