Good evening,
I have a tad more downsizing of my collection to do. For today, it is a HAP40 Endura. This knife is a near perfect specimen -- smooth, tight action, solid lockup with no vertical wiggle, a wonderfully crisp factory edge, and centering just a hair towards the presentation side. This may be able to be adjusted out, I just haven't attempted to do so. This knife has not been carried or used, other than to test it on receipt paper.
Here is the wear on the knife -- before I decided to sell it, I was curious as to the corrosion resistance of HAP40. I laid the knife with the presentation side of the blade horizontally level, and spread a thin layer of apple cider vinegar across the top part of the unlaminated portion of the blade. There is a slight patina in this area that can be seen in the pictures. A small amount of patina formed on the upper part of some of the edge bevel, but none of the patina affected the apex of the edge. It would be easily removed with a fine polish on the Sharpmaker or a strop.
With this knife sold out, and this knife being a perfect example to be put to use, I would like to see $120 >> $110 SPF. Please PM me with any reasonable offers.
