Good afternoon,
I have for sale a knife I had never expected I'd sell, my Large 21 Basketweave. It has gone a couple of months completely unused, so it is time to let it go. I received the knife brand new from BladeHQ in late August 2015 and carried it on and off as a light duty EDC for several months. It has seen a few touchups on a Spyderco fine and ultra fine stones, at the factory bevel angle, and it has been disassembled for cleaning a few times. The handles show the usual snail trails, which I did my best to capture. The blade hides wear extremely well, but I did capture a few small marks in the close up images of the blade.
Lockup is rock solid and has not moved since it settled in the first month. Action is the smoothest of any CRK folder I've handled, with no play in any position. Centering is perfect, also. The blade's pattern has much more contrast or reflectivity than the other damascus CRK's I've had, and it is a nice, tight basketweave pattern. This is truly a perfect specimen.
Given the condition and value of the knife, I would like to see $450. That is over 25% off of a new one, for a lightly used, perfect example of the knife. I am always willing to hear reasonable offers, though, so please do not hesitate to contact me with any.
