Black Burl cpm s35vn steel. I picked this up (from the original owner) on eBay. It was like new and I’ve only carried it a few times and cut paper and sharpened pencils and other similar edc tasks. I’ve stropped it, so the edge is keener than the factory edge. The action is extremely fast for this knife—the light blade just rockets out. You can even flip it open like a front flipper with some practice. It isn’t a free dropper, but it is silky smooth and has a very satisfying detent that just sucks the blade shut and keeps it from dropping open. Comes with a black leather pouch not shown in the pictures.
Disclosures: the liner did not always engage when I first got the knife, but after adjusting the pivot I’ve had no problems at all. What looks like file work on the liners is actually crimping done during the machining—it looks great, but it isn’t really hand done.
