This knife is 1/8" thick steel with a tapered tang. The steel is 1095 and heat treated by myself.
I don't have a Rockwell tester but it chops through a 2x4 and still takes hair off my arm The blade is 4.25" long and the overall length is 8.5 inches.
The handle is Burmese Rosewood and finished with boiled linseed oil. There are three brass pins on the handle.
The handle is nicely rounded over the edges and is very comfortable. It's a nice medium sized knife for light to medium camping or outdoors jobs.
