I have too many Grendels! After building this 24" rifle, I turned to a 22" Creedmoor build, and the long Grendel seemed one too many (I have an 18" and a 20" I've been hunting with). So I figured I'd sell this off before I shoot it and it becomes "used."

SIMPLE OVERVIEW:
24" stainless spiral fluted BCA barrel on Aversion receivers with upgraded parts to make this one beautiful gun!

PRICE:
Asking SOLD ON GUNBROKER shipped to your FFL. That's about what I've got in parts in this gun. PMO or certified/ cashier's check preferred;. Personal check would work if we've done business before.

This should be a tack driver. BCA guarantees MOA or better accuracy using match grade ammo. The Grendel was designed around a 24" barrel to deliver supersonic performance out to and beyond 1000 yards. Perfect deer round out to probably 400 yards or more, and varmint rifle much farther. It's hard to find ANY Grendel barrels in stock, and even harder to find 24" barrels.

PM or email me with any questions or offers, and post here that you've sent me a note. Please limit conversation in the thread to "I'll take it" or reminders you tried to contact me.

First unequivocal "I'll take it" takes precedent over any offers (unless I've already agreed to it and posted "Sold" in the thread).

Not looking for trades at this time, but you can always try. Worst that happens is I say no ;)

DETAILS

BARREL
: BCA 24" stainless, spiral fluted, rifle length 1:8 HBAR barrel. It doesn't specifically say "Grendel II" but that's the only one BCA makes. If you can find them, these run from $180-250.

MUZZLE DEVICE: Stainless SuperComp. Matches the barrel nicely and FF take out all recoil and barrel rise. ($40-60 I think)

GAS BLOCK: Gorilla adjustable gas block.

RECEIVERS: Anderson upper and lower. I lapped and squared the upper for a perfect mating surface with the receiver extension to minimize stresses on the barrel and maximize potential accuracy.

HANDGUARD: 17" LJ Parts ultra slim "Dragon's Breath" Keymod handguard. The site said it said it was USA-made when I bought it. Has scalloping (best way I can describe it) for positive grip, like the the Aero Gen 2 or UTG Pro series if you're familiar. I absolutely love this handguard.

PISTOL GRIP: JE Machine who grip with storage compartment (it's not overmolded)

TRIGGER: Mil Spec. Brake at about 4.5-5lbs with only a tiny bit of creep. Not bad.

If you want to swap, I can change out the milspec trigger for a 3.5 lbs straight trigger shoe aluminum cartridge trigger for $70. I can't recall who made it, but I picked it up on GunBroker a few years back for about $100. It's installed on a build I'm working on, but hasn't been used yet. It's a nice trigger; not a Timney, or Geissele, but it's solid and would enhance accuracy. I can take it out and send a pic if interested.

STOCK: YOUR CHOICE. I know everyone has their preference, so customize away. I've got four to choose from, listed in order of what I'd personally prefer to use on this build (I DID build this for my personal use). All are new.

1. Overrun VLTOR EMOD stock (pictured). Color is darker than Magpul FDE (think MFT's FDE); probably why it was an overrun. To be transparent, there's no name on it, and there was no brand mentioned on the site I bought it from. It came in a package marked "Made in the USA," looks EXACTLY like the EMOD, and is incredibly solid. I bought a couple and use one of my other rifles. This is designed to give a longer, more secure stock than other mil-spec tube adjustable stocks. It's easily one of the best I own, on par with the Magpul ACS. The VLTOR EMOD is regularly about $80-100 retail.

2. Overrun VLTOR EMOD stock in ranger/forest/sage green (grey-green that's lighter than ODG). Same stock as above. LaRue has a grip that matches almost exactly.

3. FAB FDE stock with cheek riser ($75-100 retail)

4. Black MFT minimalist stock. ($50-60 retail)

Not many black stocks to choose from. What can I say? I like colors.

SAFETY: Blackhawk Ambi. This is a unique design that requires less movement than most safeties. It works flawlessly with this receiver. Doesn't work with all receivers, but it's flawless with the Anderson These are around $30-40.

LPK + UPGRADES: US-made LPK; anti-rotate, anti-slip trigger pins; extended takedown/pivot pins; and extended trigger guard from Gorilla. (About $70)

BUFFER KIT: US made mil-spec buffer tube kit with standard buffer from B Kings Firearms.

BCG: Nitrided; BCA or similar. I've built/bought 10 Grendel uppers the past few years for myself, family, and friends. I don't remember where I got which BCG; they all look the same after a while... Especially when I don't label them in my parts bin. Might be Toolcraft, BCA, AR Stoner...I buy what's on sale. I believe it's MPI, but I can double check if it's important to you (it's locked up in my safe)

CHARGING HANDLE: Standard milspec.

UPPER COMPLETION KIT: Dust cover is spring loaded and easy to remove/install. Don't know the maker, but it's like a metal version of the SI Ultimate Dust Cover if you're familiar. I found a deal on these at about $15-20 a piece after shipping. Gorilla or Aero forward assist. They all look alike and are made in the USA.

I will try to get it out in a few days AFTER I get a copy of your FFL's current license (email it to me) and check it out with the BATF. It may take me until the next Saturday or Monday after I receive the license to get it out. I will keep you updated.
