NMFSH with Buy Brown kydex + dangler .
Old school busse OD green w black magnum micarta scales .
Knife has been used , lightly for what it can handle.. a couple campfires worth of fuel battened .. a broom stick chopped in half .. because , why not . Edge is original, ground by Mr BEEF ( clean and even , 97% hair shaving sharp ). I have never had to sharpen this blade with anything other that a fine ceramic rod and an old strop.
15.5 overall, 9.5 blade , about 1/3 inch thick at spine (5/16), full flat grind w slightly convex edge geometry.
This knife has a nice balance, especially for its size . A little more Heft than a NMSFNO and a little less that a NMFBM .. still hits like a sharpened cro bar . Carving is possible .. gets a little tiring after awhile though. This knife could be a “ one tool option “.
Coating has a few nicks , streaks and light marring . I noticed that this blade looks to be dull satin under the green , maybe similar to Big Finish or slightly double cut ? Might make a nice stripper?
