I bought this from Ragweed forge last year (sale page: https://ragweedforgestore.com/products/north-wolf-bird-head-puukko-21?_pos=4&_fid=a31e22322&_ss=c)
It's an amazingly beautiful handmade knife and I hate to let it go but I haven't had the chance to use it much and it still has original edge.
Very comfortable handle and polished Puronvarsi blade. Lightweight too. Comes with nice buffalo leather dangler sheath.
Here is the description from Ragweed Forge:
John Myshkoff has a passion for not just making usable puukko's but they must be as attractive as they are ready for work. Absolutely beautiful work and all of his sheaths fit the knives perfectly.
This knife was started with a 100mm Puronvarsi high carbon blade, polished to 800x satin finish.
The handle is made out of Hawaiian Koa, German silver bolster, padauk and ebony
spacers. The Sheath is Black buffalo leather with Lauri lasta and dangler secured with brass ring and Chicago screw post.
These bird head puukko's are not easy to produce and prefect but North Wolf sure impressed as always.
$215 now $200 Shipped
