My knife is not the 3550 it is the 3551 Stimulus. Here is a snapshot from bladeHQ with the 3 holes.

Correct. It is a Launch 4. CPM154 steel. Release is very hard, could almost fly right out of your hand if not holding tight. There is some scratches on the blue handle. Blade is good condition, lightly used. But was used as an EDC.
