Pro-Tech Strider SnG - Unique Micarta - Mirror Polished Compound Ground Blade
This stunning Pro-Tech Strider SnG just got delivered to me this afternoon (3/5/21). I happened to have good timing and jumped on this immediately after receiving a notification text from DLT Trading. I don't know how many of these were available, but right after I bought it, I refreshed the DLT Trading page, and it was sold out.
As nice as this knife is, it's just not for me, for a number of reasons: 1) it's over my $300 carry comfort ceiling, 2) the mirror finish compound grind, while amazingly beautiful, would make me paranoid about scratching it, and 3) it's an out-the-side automatic, which is very cool, but not my thing. So after admiring it and checking out the fantastic (thwack!!) auto opening action a few times, I snapped some photos (admittedly crappy and don't come close to doing this knife justice) and am posting it here for sale. This Pro-Tech Strider SnG hasn't cut anything or been carried, and it about as like new in box as it gets.
I'm asking$590 >> $550 (firm), which is exactly what I paid, and I'll take the loss on PayPal G&S fees and USPS Priority shipping for a quick sale. I was going to do an auction on eBay for this and see what the market would pay (I think a lot?), but figured I'd give BladeForums first crack at it, at a non-profiteering price. Not looking for any trades at this time, thanks.
By the way, I looked back at DLT Trading to get specs on this, but got the "404 - Page not found" thing, so here are some specs that I got from another website for what looks to be the same knife, with a different color micarta scale:
