This is Ray's Bushcraft Utility Knife (BUK) model. I'm the second owner of this knife. It was unused by the previous owner and since being in my possession has never been carried, used, or sharpened. The 3 - 3/8" long, 1/8" thick blade is of 1095 steel. OAL is 8". The handle is bloodwood (does not significantly darken with age) with black liners and stainless pins and lanyard tube. The original owner had Ray add a few custom touches to his standard BUK model. The handle was lengthened for a better grip. Also, the handles were beveled near the blade, and the "bird's head" handle end was rounded for more comfort while using chest lever or side grips (I'm paraphrasing the original owner's description here). The leather belt sheath, also made by Ray, is right or left handed cross-draw.
