I am selling a user Second GSO 5.1 ($160SOLD to Grey Falcon) and Mule in S110V with Halpern titanium tan micarta scales and sheath with G-clip (Now$135Sold from $150, from $160). I am willing to trade for SnGs or SMFs. I prefer lego SNGs or GG/CC SMFs, preferably with Arctic grey scales, and I prefer 3/4 grinds, but I am not so choosy.
The Mule has only cut a chocolate bar into chocolate chips. The edge is still perfect (it had better be, it was only milk chocolate) and it has been stropped a few times. The handle is very nice and the sheath is also great. I bought it off of another member of BF and have been impressed with it, I just have no use for it. The smudges in the picture are fingerprints- the knife is clean and has no blemishes. I put the clip on the other side of the sheath for IWB carry, but it is obviously reversible. Retention is fantastic and the blade does not rub. Unlike the crappy sheath for the GSO, this one is commercial and not homemade.
I paid $170 for this, but rarely carry it and only used it once (the chocolate). It came unused from the previous owner.
The GSO is a second, but it is great. It has some big shiny streaks (they look black in the pics) on the blade from the crappy sheath I made myself (they were out of sheaths when I bought mine). I did sharpen the edge at 40 degrees inclusive with a coarse stone, and haven't refined it further. I took it out and chopped some logs and battonned some firewood for fun. I also used this knife to cut up some chocolate, and it worked a lot better than the Mule. I like the knife, but I have a RMD coming soon, and while I would like to compare them side by side in hand, I am more excited about freeing up some more knife funds.
